Real estate market behavior – Factors

The market slowed down in the later part of 2022, right after the real estate peak between late 2021 and mid-2022. During that time there were several speculations and people were quite confused as to whether it was a market meltdown (collapse) or corrections. To make matters worse, the media and social media published baseless reports. As such, I did extensive research and sat down with a journalist to provide my perspective.

While the video was shared on social media, I did not make it public on the Nine Estates website till March 2024. I am delighted to inform you that the analysis and the message there in the video are still taking place in the second round of correction which started again around early 2023.

My prediction is that the market turnaround is just around the corner because the correction is sustainable. The facts and data are not supported to be a healthy and sustainable correction.

The real estate market rests on four main factors demand, supply, wealth, and economy. One or more factors can have either a pull or push effect. The other sub-factors can also cause small shakeups from time to time.

What we going through is a correction. Canada is not a country for real estate market collapse.

The market slowed down in the later part of 2022, following the real estate peak between late 2021 and mid-2022. During that period, there were various speculations, and confusion prevailed regarding whether it was a market meltdown or merely corrections. Compounding the confusion, baseless reports circulated in the media and on social media platforms. To address this, I conducted extensive research and collaborated with a journalist to provide my perspective.

Although the video was shared on social media, it was not made public on the Nine Estates website until March 2024. I am pleased to inform you that the analysis and message conveyed in the video still hold relevance, particularly as we witness a second round of corrections that commenced around early 2023.

My prediction is that the market turnaround is imminent because the correction appears to be sustainable. The available facts and data do not support the notion of a healthy and sustainable correction.

The real estate market is influenced by four main factors: demand, supply, wealth, and the economy. Each of these factors can exert either a pull or push effect, while sub-factors may also contribute to occasional shakeups.

What we are currently experiencing is a correction. Canada is not prone to real estate market collapses, indicating a level of stability in the market.
